Enhancing the industry
Currently, the pharmaceutical, agricultural, and food
industry sectors are facing counterfeit products in their global supply chains,
which has a direct impact on their brand value and also affects consumer health
and brand reputation, causing huge financial losses. Some of the statistics are
so scary that agriculture alone is witnessing almost 35% of fake products,
which becomes a big threat to the reputation of the firms and, at the same time,
directly impacts the livelihood of farmers. Consumer and/or regulatory
requirements require product quality compliance throughout the value chain,
from lab to land in agriculture, farm to fork in food, and raw material to
finished goods. To handle end-to-end Track & Trace across the
supply chain, we developed the Blockchain-enabled Product ProTrackTM. Our tracking covers everything from Breeder Seeds to
Foundation Seed, Hybrid Seed to Certified Seed. Implementing Lab to Land Seed
Traceability ensures seed purity across the seed value chain. Farmers can do
simple verification by scanning a QR code with a mobile phone. Similarly, the
pharmaceutical sector is also facing big challenges from counterfeit products.
Many regulatory markets impose serialization requirements for manufacturers as
well as importers. To meet these challenges, we help pharmaceutical
manufacturers implement Track & Trace systems to apply unique serialization
at every pack level and also help them share the data electronically with
specified regulatory agencies and supply chain partners. We at Proventech

the US DSCSA, EU FMD, Russia MoH, China FDA, and Saudi FDA.

Becoming the pioneers
The year 2022 will be a milestone period for API (Bulk
Drug) manufacturers in India as the Govt. of India issued a Gazette to follow
all manufacturers and importers to implement a QR Code-based Track & Trace
system. We have developed a unique blockchain-enabled product, ProTrackTM, to
implement GS1 Standard SSCC-based serialization at every pack level. Since the
mandate will come into effect on January 1, 2023, all API manufacturers should
comply with this requirement. We at Proventech need to extend our reach to as
many customers as possible so that we can be pioneers in the API Serialization
process. We plan to introduce a Hybrid model of operation to ease the overall
process as we expect requirements to evolve over time. We use cutting-edge
Blockchain-based verification to ensure the authenticity of the products
packed.
