Réussir Trust

R’eussir is a French word that means "successful" or "triumph."

Réussir is a not-for-profit organisation based in Bangalore, Karnataka. The organisation was founded with the intention of assisting children with learning disabilities. The prevalence of learning disabilities was estimated at 10–15 percent, and the needs identified were not only academic but also emotional support for children. Training teachers was the best way to reach out to many children. We have trained 700+ teachers on inclusive education across Karnataka, impacting over 5000 children. We have conducted 70+ workshops.

With the implementation of the RPWD Act, 2016, and NEP 2020, the training needs have changed, and the programs offered are customized to the requirements of the institution.

We offer offline and online workshops for educators, teachers, and parents, certification courses, strategic consultation, and dipstick surveys.

Réussir training techniques

In inclusive education, "equitable and inclusion" are aspects of EQ (Emotional Quotient), SQ (Social Quotient), and IQ (Intellectual Quotient) that go hand in hand. The training conducted by us enables a teacher to be aware of all three aspects and understand their learners, based on which they could design their teaching methodology and classroom design.

They also learn to interpret the psychological assessments and accommodations provided by various boards and accordingly guide the child and the parent. Since we have a dearth of special educators and inclusive teachers, it is very important to have trained teachers.

Strategic consulting assists institutions in identifying teachers' and principals' strengths and developing career growth, work-life balance, and self-development. Understanding leadership qualities and being emotionally aware of themselves, which in turn supports delivering quality education not only academically but through the holistic grooming of a child.

Consulting work for schools

As every school is unique with different values and ethos, based on the cultural fit, we support them in designing appraisal systems, defining the vision and mission statements, leadership and coaching, teamwork, work-life balance, identifying training needs, and training.

Dr. Shanthi Satish, trainer & entrepreneur

As HR and a social entrepreneur, learning from the corporate world has been immense, from both the public and private sectors. And as a visiting faculty member at various management colleges, it has enabled me to understand and connect education to industry, bridging the gaps.

As a social entrepreneur for 8+ years, training over 700 educators and designing workshops and certification programmes that, in turn, impact children has been a wonderful journey of my life. As an advisory member to the commissioner of disabilities, it has been a great learning experience to understand the challenges of the implementation of policies and inclusion.

As a resource person for NEP (inclusion), I gave a very different perspective on inclusion, learning from various eminent people and understanding their perspective on inclusion too.

I have received an award from CII for social start-up. I have also completed pre-incubation at the IIMB (NSRCEL). WELEAD's award for best social entrepreneur has been a boost to my journey.

As a mother of two wonderful children, I would always want to contribute to making another mother's journey enjoyable and cherished.
