Roles and Responsibilities

As an educator in management studies, I feel that students need to be connected to real-life work situations. It’s my responsibility to ensure that my students are engaged in course work that has access to the best resources available and to help them understand the real business problems that managers face.

I strive to create an environment where students can feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas without fear of judgement.

I believe in the importance of providing quality education to all students as well as fostering an environment that encourages analytical and logical thinking.

Teaching Style - Inclusive Education

My top priority is to create an inclusive learning environment for my students. To do this, I believe it is essential to foster an atmosphere of respect and understanding in the classroom. This means actively listening to student perspectives and ideas, valuing different backgrounds, and creating opportunities for meaningful dialogue. I also strive to create a safe space where all students feel comfortable taking risks and engaging in class discussions, so that everyone feels heard and respected.

I always ensure to work closely with other faculty members to ensure that the curriculum meets the needs of the diverse student body.

Best Course for an Agricultural Business Enthusiast

Agribusiness management studies touch on different areas, forming a 360-degree view of the agribusiness landscape. The agribusiness professional will incorporate knowledge of business management, supply chain, sales and marketing, technology and innovation, sustainability, solutions to global agribusiness challenges, and leadership skills. The different knowledge acquired during the agribusiness management studies will allow the professionals to work in different types of institutions and companies, giving them greater alternatives in terms of job opportunities.

Trending Business Opportunities in Agriculture

Food and Agribusiness is a specialized course unknown to many; hence, the industry has a shortage of professionals, making it the right time to get an MBA degree in the field. With digitalization and industrialization spanning the country, traditional means of farming, processing, supply chain management, and other agriculture practices will soon be replaced by modern and electronic means. As a result, the industry will need skilled and professionally trained food and agribusiness executives to take care of the various operational and management roles in the field, which will have enormous scope even in the future.

Best Mentor with a Secret to Success

I often prefer to use a combination of lectures, discussions, group work, and hands-on activities. This allows me to cover topics thoroughly while giving students opportunities to apply their knowledge and practice problem-solving skills.

I believe it is important to give students the tools they need to succeed, so I would ensure they stay up-to-date on any new learning materials available. Finally, I would encourage the student to seek extra help from me whenever required.

Holistic Development through Critical Thinking

Like the college, my vision is for the holistic development of students, for which I try to apply the philosophy of creating engaging lesson plans so that they may challenge students to think critically about the course and its application.

I believe it is important for any institution to provide multiple opportunities for students, and thus I encourage them to practice what they learn through various activities such as group projects, debates, and discussions. This ensures that not only the students develop their intelligence quotient but also their social and emotional quotient.

A Valuable Piece of Advice to Students for a Prosperous Career

I always advise my students to read, upskill, and upgrade to build their careers. Along with it, they should seek internship opportunities, build networks, and stay connected with their seniors, faculties, and batchmates.

Overcoming Challenges as an Educator

One of the most significant challenges has been balancing teaching and research responsibilities. As an educator, one must stay updated on current trends in the subject field while also creating engaging lesson plans for students. This can be difficult when there are competing demands from both sides.
