2. What is the biggest challenge of being a CEO and how do you overcome it?

Initially the biggest challenge of being a CEO for me is creating a strong and reliable team. As our company is rooted at Pondicherry, which has a small population and most of them move towards Chennai after their education for their Job, as it is the very near metropolitan city with lot of MNC companies. Attracting high quality people and building a strong team in a small town like Pondicherry is a great challenge not only the small companies like us but also for the medium-sized companies as well. Initially the challenge was hectic but later I realised of recruiting people without considering their marks/grades, Considering only their interest in developing a good career, I created a Strong Team providing them with good training over the technologies even they didn’t had any prior knowledge earlier. I invested on training and I overcame the challenge.

3. Where do you see the company in the next five years and how will you bring about the change?

Today the world is bigger with the innovative idea of human beings. Many sectors are computerized and expanding to automation according to the needs and make a common man work simpler. Our company has the extended service and research unit to fulfil the human needs and also to make service to clients. We are stuffed with information enabled services. Our company is about consulting and reforms what are the expectations of clients. In next Five years our Company will be providing latest products using Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and more Automation products. To achieve this, our company has already started training our team and working on the projects, which will make us a Global leader in near soon.

4. Did you ever feel like giving up on being a CEO and what motivated you to pull this off?

To explain this I have copied a quote from the Internet which is: “You might be frustrated if your business doesn’t become an overnight success. Instead, focus on making significant contributions to your field and community; success will follow!”. Yes everyone would have faced this and I am too not an exception for it. Self-motivation is the only way to pull this off. At certain times you find out that you are completely alone with the problems created by the company failure. Your friends are busy and you don't want to bother them any more about your woes. Your family still need to be protected from the pain and misery you are going through. So you are alone. That's when you need to dig deep and realise that you have been on your own before and got through. When you decided to start the company. When you hired your first employee. When you struggled to may monthly payroll. When you fell out with a client and had to work fast to find others. When you had to face that fact you couldn't pay all your employees. And when you finally decided to close the company. The Self-motivation is: You did it before, you can do it again.

5. Describe your biggest achievement

Even though I have made my achievements, I consider my biggest achievement is my Company. It is because, being bought up from a middle class family without any knowledge on business, support on financial aspects or any guidance, I have started the company, which is my biggest achievement and which made me possible to achieve anything from it.

6. From where you get the idea for business?

My family doesn’t have any Business background. My idea for business was enlighten when I was studying my M.Tech. in Pondicherry University. Many of my friends, nearby college students, my juniors approached me for developing their final year projects and preparing research papers as I was good in it and I didn’t charge anything for it, instead they gifted me something. In the final year, I was placed in HCL company and waiting for the Joining Date. Meanwhile, when there was a huge demand for the projects and research paper works, my idea of business enlighten there and from then my company JP INFOTECH was born and I refused my placement offer.

8. Tell us some of your failures

Every successful person would have faced some failures. The failures make the person to learn and improve more in the life. Initially as I didn’t have any knowledge on business, I had many failures but I learned many things and the failures made me a successful person today. Unable to build a team, worked on partnerships, no proper financial planning management were some of my failures from which I have learnt a more and overcame those failures.

9. What is the role of your family in your successful career?

The role of family plays a vital part for any successful person. My parent supported me a lot and didn’t restrict me on any part of my journey, without them I couldn’t not achieved anything. My successful career path was laid by my parent only.
