BracePort is a service based logistics company, having a team of trained professionals with rich industry experience. At BracePort we provide customized solutions for all supply chain needs. We have an expertise in handling all types of logistics movement and all sizes of cargo from 500 kg to 500 tons through air, ocean and road. After spending a long good time as an employee, last year in 2020 I took a challenge of transformation from employee to employer.  I Partnered with like-minded industry leaders and formed BracePort.

2. What is the biggest challenge of being a Director and how do you overcome it?

The biggest challenge I would say is to manage all the departments simultaneously. You have to ensure your Customers, Partners and Associates are happy with your services, your team is well in sync with your vision and goal. And also your finances are well in line with the requirements. To overcome it, you need to have a good team, who can easily understand the need behind the need and can work shoulder to shoulder. So far we have a good team with us, and we all work hard towards our goal.

3. Where do you see the company in the next five years and how will you bring about the change?

In the next five years we should be visible to all big and small size exporters and importers in India and outside, as a total solution provider for all logistics needs. We want to establish our own offices in at least five more countries. This expansion is possible by increasing right human resource.

4. Did you ever feel like giving up and what motivated you to pull this off?

Yes, twenty years back when I was in the initial stage of my career in IT industry as a web designer, the e-commerce industry had a nose dip. So, I had to switch my career. And then one of my best friends pulled me in logistics and got me a breakthrough. I started loving logistics, and put all my hard work and dedication. Then it was never looking back.

5. Describe your biggest achievement.

Becoming an entrepreneur with this platform of BracePort is my biggest achievement, as this has given me an opportunity to become a partner of industry veterans, who have well established themselves in this industry with their hard work and have been an inspiration to many.

6. From where you get the idea for business?

I always wanted to have a challenging role which can justify my passion towards logistics. And after more than nineteen years of job, the next step was to start my own business. I thank God who has been kind to me always and thanks to our partners for their support and trust in joining hands with me in this business.

7. What was your aim to start the company?

To create a platform which can give an opportunity to hardworking and deserving youngsters to fulfill their dreams and passion. And also for developing myself as an entrepreneur.

8. Tell us some of your failures.

I believe failure is nothing, it's always learning. There is always a new opportunity, one just has to learn from mistakes and move on with more fire and experience. I also have bitter experiences because of wrong choices in my career, but no regrets, as those experiences have taught me a lot.

9. What is the role of your family in your successful career?

After God, comes Family, whose blessings and unconditional support takes you closer to your achievements. My parents have always been so cool to accept every situation; either it was schooling days or my initial career days, irrespective of my average results. Their motivation was always a key to success. My better half is more like a friend, who has always been my strength while taking crucial decisions. Being in the same industry she has added many valuable inputs in my decisions so far. Blessed to have such a family.

10. What is your message to the young generations and to their parents?

Assign a date to your Dream and turn it into a Goal. Make a Plan and execute it with Passion and Love, then your dreams will become reality. To all parents, I would request to let their children choose a career. Because Inclination and Passion for the work is very much required to become successful. Love towards your work is the catalyst and key ingredient of success.
