I engineer solutions for our clients and lead the execution for software development. I ensure to blend innovation and quality while architecting software solutions.
My entrepreneurial journey is backed by 15+ years of experience of designing and developing solutions using Microsoft technologies with various technology start-ups, fortune 500 clients and big corporate like IBM.
About VS Online services
VS Online services is a bootstrapped Technology based business solutions company providing custom software solutions for medium scale business and start-ups. Our vision is to ensure every human is benefited by our technology products and solutions in day-to-day life. Founded in 2014 at Chennai, we started with Hyperlocal marketplace, a first of its kind in 2015 and then pivoted to providing services for around 5 years now, serving more than 10+ countries.
Our core business being Software Products, we are currently working on some of the Cloud based Software solutions in e-Commerce and AI domains, which we plan to officially launch by early, 2022.
Our solutions are designed with current emerging market in mind. Our USP is Quick and Quality solutions. Our clients get a Minimum Viable Product in 30 days. We can develop any ideas into reality due to extensive knowledge on understanding various businesses. How many people are on your team, and do you have any tips on hiring and growing a team of employees?
We are a 10-member company, but equal to a 40-member team as all of us are full stack developers working in various technology stack mainly in Angular, Ionic, .NET Core and in no time can shift from frontend to backend development or mobile app vice-versa. Being a full stack development team, everyone can understand the full flow of the functionalities and chances of integration issues. Quality, Accountability and Deadline is our primary motto.
We follow start-up culture along with mutual respect. We believe that, grooming initial core team will take some time. After that, the core team can mentor your next set of employees and take forward growth of the company.
What do you do for encouragement or to be motivated?
I set goals for myself, personally and professionally. I reward myself for each achievement or milestone. Sometimes, take a break and wait for the right time when many things are not working in my favor. I live my life with no regrets which makes me happy with sure shot winning attitude.
My everyday motivation is working with my team. Motivation for me is not limited by my success. A simple note from an ex-employee saying his current successful position is because of us, motivates me more than anything else. It encourages me to run further. When there is immense growth in a client’s business due to our software solution, it gives me an energy boost.
It is during tough times that we realize the importance of having an understanding and supporting family. I am blessed to have such support in my entrepreneurial journey.
How did you persevere through the tough times?
God’s Grace. There have been many tough times I faced in last few years, especially when I incurred huge loss in VBuy.in and couple of other times, that’s the beauty of this journey with unpredictable ups and downs and I enjoy it. Whenever in need, I feel the importance and take care of my mental health by discussing with the right experts. Ensuring to take care of physical health and mental health is prime important in overcoming tough times. Also, I strongly believe in some way or other our efforts will pay off and never stop putting effort and work much harder in tough times. Hope is a magical word.
How did you decide what market to target?
Startups and medium scale business which requires quality technology solutions are our targeted market across the globe. We choose Interesting and Innovative business ideas that requires our engineering expertise.
When it comes to global market, Professionalism will be at it’s best when working with US/UK based Projects and they close the deal soon than others as they value time the most. So, targeting US/UK market have many advantages but recently this is changing all over the world and everywhere things are getting better.
Father - Most influenced person
My Father is my first Hero. Watching him take many risks within all his limitations and even now work hard from morning 5 AM till night 11 PM has influenced me at many levels. From my Childhood, I always admired people like Ambani, Vijay Mallya, Ratan Tata. Working with various best of the best engineering team influence you to do your best in career and give more confidence. I am glad that I got such opportunity from initial days of my career.
