After this, the universities also honored me by giving me Doctorate of Science, I have also been a council member of NASA and European Space Agency.

Can you share your experience as a researcher?

My contribution as a researcher was not much because, when I joined DRDO, I got an appointment from UPSC/CAC just after 6 months and handled the administration of the home department. But there I was met many scientists and good personalities who worked very hard and passionately about their particular work and worked together with the spirit of patriotism.

I got to learn a lot from all the wonderful personalities and it was a good experience when I designed the codec of PSLV i.e. Agni 5 missile. I would call it work is worship.

Describe your role and responsibilities as a Special Director of Cabinet.

As Special Director, my role is to maintain good administration and coordination between all forces.

Preparation and distribution of the agenda.

Circulation of papers relating to matters on the agenda.

Preparing records of discussions.

Distribution of records of discussion after obtaining the approval of the Prime Minister.

To monitor the implementation of decisions taken by the Cabinet and its committees.

My main activities are:

To overcome anti-national difficulties.

Overcoming delays in administrative work.

Coordination in administrative proceedings.

Coordination of policies.

While each ministry itself is responsible for the prompt implementation of government policies, schemes, and programmes, where inter-ministerial cooperation is involved, they often take the assistance of the Cabinet Secretariat, and it is here that I as an official, play an important role.

Can you tell us about your achievements?

I have received the Rashtrapati Medal 3 times and Sarjan Shilta Award from the Government of India for my contribution, I have also been awarded the GFiles Award given by the Prime Minister. But for me, getting the opportunity to serve my country is the biggest award.

This is my greatest good fortune.

How do you balance your professional and personal lives?

I don’t think I have to do anything special to maintain a balance between my professional and personal lives. I am a responsible citizen like everyone else, and I fulfil my responsibilities towards my family along with my work. I have lived a simple life because my needs are very few, and this is what inspires me to live a happy life.

What are the other activities you are involved in?

Life gives everyone an opportunity to learn, and serving mankind while walking on the path of duty is both my religion and my duty.

As a person and as a human being, as much as I can, I have tried to do and learn those things which will lead me forward on the path of action for the sake of my nation, in the true sense this is the aim of my life, I call it my I am blessed and I will always do my work with full devotion and dedication towards my country, I will continue to do so, this is my life.
