Inspiration to become a Physicist

From a young age, I've been captivated by the mysteries of the universe and the underlying principles that govern it. Growing up, I found myself drawn to books and documentaries about space, quantum mechanics, and the fundamental forces shaping our reality. This curiosity eventually led me to pursue a career in physics. The prospect of unraveling these complex phenomena, pushing the boundaries of human understanding, and contributing to scientific knowledge excites me beyond measure. I'm driven by a passion for exploration and discovery, and I'm eagerly embarking on this continuous journey of scientific inquiry."

Research journey

My research was an inter-disciplinary effort. Spectroscopy plays a crucial role in chemical analysis and molecular structure determination. I used techniques like infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, and UV-visible spectroscopy to identify chemical compounds, study molecular vibrations, and elucidate the electronic structure of molecules.

My research was on “Spectroscopic Analysis and Density functional calculation of Cyclic & Hetero cyclic Compounds” and I carried out my study in Labs of repute in our Country. I have also been awarded a Patent based on my study.

Contributions

I have strived to unleash my potential and also help my teammates realise their potential. I do a lot of handholding for my teammates and am of the firm opinion that teamwork is key to success. I network with Organisations & Individuals across the globe for Curricular & Co Curricular Work. I have guided 3 M.Phil Scholars & 12 PhD research Scholars. I have travelled to Malaysia & Singapore for Chairing Conferences.
