PRODIGY ACADEMY, established with a passion to empower students and to make them prodigies, as “Child Prodigies are made, not born.”

We provide countless activities designed to empower and enrich life at our Academy, taking knowledge and leadership beyond classrooms.

Besides encouraging everyone’s participation simultaneously, they can hone their competitive skills, find their inner Zen, and feed their inner artist.

Our academy is the perfect example of how fun facilitates education.

We train and provide business opportunities to Individuals and franchisees.

The skill of mental computation is a handy, applicable asset that helps students move away from the mechanical, rote method of solving problems. Instead, students learn the principles behind mathematics, understand around 26 new ways to think about the number system and number relationships, and it leads to easy understanding of any question and solving it in a Jiffy.

Mental calculation lays the foundation for the development of higher-order thinking skills for students who can acquire these skills at an early age.

This simple method of learning is imparted to students by the use of abacus technology, wherein basic mathematical operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are solved by the simple movement of beads in this mathematical tool.

This helps the student to develop a pictorial representation of the problem in the brain, and by regular practice, the brain learns to solve the problem free from any tool, including the abacus. The students thereby develop an absolute photographic memory.

"The science that draws necessary and ideal conclusions, which deals with the logic of shape, quantity, and arrangements. “Arithmetic" is everywhere, and it is all around us. Mathematical concepts are an integral part of our lives, as we carefully endeavour to carry out everything "calculatedly."

At Prodigy Academy, we focus on the Application of Basic Mathematical Formulae by creating an impact on Students' Attention, Memory, and Higher Order Cognition (HOC). We believe creating and possessing a multi-faceted talent and developing complex areas of thinking is close-knit to our most common mental processes of reasoning, decision-making, and logically sound and proactive creativity.

Our focus on Mathematical Concept Learning is made very simple by converting ordinary ideas or notions that commonly occur in all our minds to making it a reality. We measure every student’s progress, starting from their basics of UNDERSTANDING Mathematical concepts to a much higher degree of competency, by applying such Concepts to real-life situations.

Our delivery is based on three-pronged key areas that lay a firm foundation for finding solutions to problems countered in our everyday lives. Number One - "Attention Skills—seal students to maintain a steady focus on the intricacies of Mathematical concepts. Number Two - "Memory Skills"- Upgrade Students' minds to store and retrieve those already existing and intrinsic concepts in their minds, to exploring, expanding, augmenting, and strengthening new concepts for all good practical reasons in the future. Number Three - "Applying Higher Order Cognition" -  Forges "Attention" and "Memory" Skills together, to "Applying" them to real-life situations to go beyond much greater heights, surpassing their own expectations in life. Thus, the importance of learning Mathematical Concepts becomes a pathway to problem-solving skills in their own minds, which are ultimately exhibited as ground reality experiences.

Learning Mathematical concepts in our everyday lives empowers all our Societies from "Solving" every little simple problem to much more complex issues successfully. As we all have a good legitimate reason to be honourable citizens in life, we all need to know how to reason and think analytically to solve problems in our everyday lives. In short, acquiring and possessing Mathematical Concepts strengthens our minds to find solutions in a most sophisticated and logical way to becoming a hall of fame.

Importance of Perseverance in Achieving Your Goals and Dreams

Our ability to pursue a passionate goal and stick to it even if we encounter obstacles or setbacks is a trait that has been lauded throughout history as it fuels personal growth, ignites the desire to excel, and paves the way to accomplishments. Perseverance is the driving force that distinguishes between those who achieve and those who fail.

Perseverance also plays a major role in personal growth. When we persevere through challenges, we naturally develop resilience and strength, and more importantly, we learn from our failures, modify our strategies, and emerge stronger, both mentally and emotionally! perseverance also amplifies ambition and fuels the pursuit of excellence.

Various studies have shown that perseverance is an essential quality for success in life. JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, faced rejection by numerous agents and publishers before tasting success. Thomas Edison said I have not failed; I’ve just found 10,000 ways to make a lightbulb that won’t work. Walt Disney was told his passionate Mickey Mouse would fail by Hollywood initially. Henry Ford had gone bankrupt before he turned Ford Motor Company into a success.

Tips to Overcome Procrastination

Excessive procrastination can disrupt your life and cause you to lose control of your schedules and deadlines. One way to stop procrastinating is to break down the dreaded task into little steps. If a task seems too big or overwhelming, break it down into a series of smaller, more achievable tasks or steps that will add up to completing the job.

  1. “Someday is not a day of the week.” – Janet Dailey
  2. “A year from now you may wish you had started today.” – Karen Lamb
  3. “You may delay, but time will not.” - Benjamin Franklin
  4. “If you wait until the last minute, it only takes a minute to do.”— The Stock—Sanford corollary
  5. “Much of the stress that people feel doesn’t come from having too much to do. It comes from not finishing what they started.”— Attributed to David Allen
  6. “Procrastination is the enemy of success.”
  7. “Procrastination is the grave in which opportunity is buried.”

Skill Development vs. Knowledge or Learning for Success

When it comes to learning, we’ve all heard the statistics that people forget up to 90%.

Skill development is the act of teaching a person a particular skill, or skills, needed for a job or role. It’s geared towards training a person in something specific, usually over a limited or defined period of time or till they get trained and competent enough to perform. Your goal with any training is to impact learners’ behaviour. So you want to ensure your strategy helps bridge the gap between knowing and doing.

Knowledge is theoretical. It’s an intellectual understanding of information, knowing the right answers. Skills are practical. They are the actions people take to put their knowledge into practice.

When you treat training as just a box to tick, you risk focusing only on knowledge transfer, and that can hurt your overall company goals. This is why understanding knowledge vs. skill is important. You need to ensure people can move from knowing to doing. Perseverance plays a major role here, changing habits takes time.

When you divide the learning up into short, single-topic lessons (micro learning), you’ll make it easier for people to remember the skills or easy to inculcate the habit of doing.
