What inspired your transition from the
corporate sector to founding your own venture, and how does this experience
shape your leadership philosophy?
My transition from the corporate sector to founding my own
venture was inspired by a desire to create something truly innovative and
impactful. After years of working in large organizations, I realized that I
wanted to be part of a team that could move quickly, take calculated risks, and
make decisions that would have a direct impact on the company's success.
Founding my own venture has been an incredible journey, and
it's taught me a great deal about leadership and what it takes to build a
successful organization. One of the key lessons I've learned is the importance
of adaptability and resilience. As an entrepreneur, you've got to be able to
pivot quickly in response to changing circumstances, and you've got to be
willing to take calculated risks.
My experience has also taught me the value of building a
strong team and empowering them to take ownership of their work.
My leadership philosophy is centred around
three core principles:
1. Innovation:
I believe that innovation is essential to staying ahead of the curve and
driving growth.

I believe that collaboration is key to building strong relationships and
achieving common goals.
3. Empowerment:
I believe that empowering my team to take ownership of their work is essential
to unlocking their full potential.
As a leader, I believe that my role is not just to provide
direction, but also to create an environment that allows my team to thrive and
grow.
Could you share us your professional journey,
highlighting significant milestones and achievements?
My professional journey has been a rewarding and
challenging experience, marked by significant milestones and achievements.
Here's a brief overview:
Early Career
I have completed my Bachelor in Pharmacy from MGV’s College
of Pharmacy, Nashik, India. With the vision of becoming an innovative and
successful business developer in the pharmaceutical field, I successfully
completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Business Management from
Mumbai, India. This helped me to learn the basics of marketing, making
strategies, market research, costing, product launching, and sales planning. I
was able to successfully apply this knowledge while working as a Sales
Executive with Torrent Pharmaceutical India Ltd. then Sanofi-Aventis
pharmaceuticals India Ltd. (Cardiovascular division). To present the product
successfully to the customer in this world of competition, with the vision to
understand the basic formulation, this prompted me to pursue a master’s degree
in pharmaceuticals sciences at University of Greenwich, England. This degree in
M.Sc. in pharmaceutical sciences has given me in-depth knowledge of the
background molecule, the formulation, and clinical research, and hence,
much-needed confidence in communicating and in the innovative positioning of
the product to the customer.
While in England I got an opportunity to work with Abbott
Laboratories, UK to work with them as a production and packaging assistant
which actually gave me the opportunity to find the gap between manufacturing
and sterilization processes.
After coming back to India, I worked with the Aarogyam
Packaging Solutions Pvt Ltd. as a Marketing Head for West, South and, East
India along with the international marketing for the eastern Asian countries.
